Arnold was born in Southern California in 1979. His mother was a native Californian, but his father was from Austria. Due to his father’s architectural career, Arnold’s family moved approximately every four years which resulted in him living in several countries and learning 4 languages (English, German, French and Spanish).
In 2003, Arnold graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in French, and in 2006 he graduated from Brigham Young University Law School with a Juris Doctor.
Arnold’s greatest accomplishment so far is no doubt marrying the lovely Amanda Jones. Arnold and Amanda currently live in Houston, Texas and are expecting their first child.
Arnold comes from a family of avid readers and has read and thoroughly enjoy all of Karl May’s books, and considers it an honor to be translating some of the works of that great master of literature.
