Herbert V. Steiner I was born in Vienna, Austria in 1941. When we were bombed out we moved to Salzburg where I lived 11 years. At age 12 my mom and I immigrated to the USA. For several years we lived in WV where I went to school until 18. Then I moved to Baltimore, worked for Bethlehem Steel Co. while going to night school. I was married in 1963 to my wife Thelma and moved to Washington DC. There I worked for several engineering companies until Carrier Air Conditioning hired me in 1968. I became Service Engineer for Africa and Middle East but after a few years got tired of traveling and being away from family so I quit and went to work for my father-in-law who had just started an auto parts business. He died a few years later and my wife and I build business into a large corporation, covering 5 states, until I semi-retired in 1998 and turned business over to my son who is now running it. We now live in Land O Lakes, FL.
